Airtechno is a Ukrainian technology company that develops and produces unmanned aerial systems. It operates in a competitive, fast-moving drone market where performance, reliability, and engineering credibility define who leads and who follows. The project was focused on creating a logo that clearly differentiates Airtechno from competitors while reflecting the technological foundations and engineering mindset behind modern drone systems.

The Challenge

The drone industry is visually repetitive. Most brands use the same tired symbols — generic propellers, abstract wings, or plain wordmarks that blend together. Airtechno needed a logo that stood out in a crowded defense-tech and drone market, felt modern and technical without copying what everyone else was doing, and reflected the engineering origins of aerial technology—not just its current iteration. It had to communicate innovation and credibility while staying simple and instantly recognizable.

How We Approached It

Instead of mimicking modern compact drone propellers — what everyone else references — we looked back to where propulsion technology actually began. The logomark reimagines the "A" as a propeller blade with elongated, intentional geometry that reflects earlier, more fundamental forms of blade design. This shape connects the brand directly to the mechanical principles from which today's aerial systems evolved. It's rooted in engineering history. By avoiding generic drone visuals and grounding the symbol in the origins of aviation and propulsion, the logo feels purposeful, technical, and historically grounded. 


The Result

A distinctive, ownable visual identity that clearly separates Airtechno from competitors. The blade-shaped A communicates motion, power, and engineering precision. It subtly references the origins of the technologies that modern drones are built upon, giving the brand depth beyond surface-level design. The logo works across hardware, software, documentation, and product markings. It's flexible, recognizable, and built to scale as the company grows.
